The BBC was founded by two people called John Reith (Director-General) and George Villiers (Chairman) and was Founded 1 January 1927. It is owned by The Crown and its services is Television, Radio and Online.

The BBC is funded by:

• £3,446.8 million in licence fees collected from householders.
• £888.3 million from BBC Commercial Businesses.
• £293 million from government grants.

It has all of these channels:

BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC 3, BBC 4, BBC News, BBC Parliament, CBBC, Cbeebies, BBC Iplayer, BBC England, BBC Scotland, BBC Wales, BBC Northern Ireland, and BBC America,Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5 live,5 live sports extra, 6 music, radio 7, Asian Network. In total 25 TV and radio channels.

PSB is important because it gives us a range of different channels that all the great British public to enjoy.   

For license fees:

I think it is good that we have license fees because if we didnt we would not be able to watch and listen to the latest media is. 

Against license fees:

We shouldn't have them because it costs money and some people don't have the money.
